Is there a way to get around the adverts that take up so much of the blogs I am trying to read? It’s so frustrating because they stop me leaving comments too. I’ve just counted 15 scattered through Hywels blog with an advert for Howdens between each photo. They have really put me off using the site much.

Use a different browser, one with built-in or option for Adblockers.

I use Firefox with Adblock Plus add on and see zero adverts

i have just double-checked with looking Hywels, no adverts whatsoever.

I'm on Windows PC BTW

Same. I have Firefox with adblock plus and no ads. They used to drive me mad.

I've got Adblock and Adblock plus. I never see any adverts.

I haven't written a blog for ages ! I haven't been on here for ages either.

Thank you all. I usually use my iPad but I will try the laptop and see if that makes a difference.
