I know Digitalis lutea has yellow flowers, but 2 of the ones here, labelled as lutea, have similar size flowers, but are pink tinged? Any ideas about this?

Oooh…wonder if it’s hybrid?

Identified as Digitalis × fucata, a hybrid between lutea and purpurea.

The question is, though, is it perennial. If not, then does it come true from seeds (if it is not hybrid sterile)? Or do I have to see if we get some more from the D. lutea plants.

It does produce seed apparently, The HPS have had it listed in the past as x'Red Skin', so I suspect it wont come true.

It's been a strange Spring, Owd ... the white bracts on my Cornus Eddie's White Wonder are pink tinged too ... maybe there's something in the rain :)
