Thank you to whoever suggested Adblock! My daughter just installed it for me and it works a treat, so I'm back!

Yes, apparently it is free but my daughter pointed out that the people who put the effort into designing the tool do suggest a small one-off donation once you have used it for a while and found that it works, but it isn't compulsory.
