I would like to know how I can tell if my carrots are ready to harvest. Is there some way of telling without digging them up e.g.potatoes flower to give you an idea they are ready to harvest. What about carrots.

Depends how big you want them. Some people like baby carrots which taste sweeter. Anytime Wavydavy

the green foliage will get taller and larger which should give you an idea of what is happening below ground, you can also scrape away the top surface and see how big the carrot top is , cover back up if you are not goung to pull it up.hope this helps
