Heuchera
I think I've done the wrong thing (again!). I've just planted up a couple of heucheras into font-like stone pots on the strip of concrete that someone with more imagination might call a patio. These are very exposed. I'm now wondering whether it was a mistake and whether they need protection for the winter (georgia peach and creme brulee). Also, I've just read the info on here and it looks as though they might not like the summer sun. As I'm typing this I'm convincing myself that I should move them but am I worrying unnecessarily?

Thanks Spritz. I had an idea there was someone on here who knew all about heucheras but couldn't remember who it was. I'll have a look. Thanks again.

I'd imagine that they'd be OK in the winter as long as they won't sit in water, which will rot the roots. In summer, some varieties don't like full sun, that's true. I'd take a look at GOY member Vicky1's page, then go to her website where she tells you which Heucheras prefer some shade. She hasn't been around for a while, or I'd suggest sending her a PM.
