Hi, wondering if you can help me. I've got a fantastic climbing rose at my property that was still in bud, but due to the recent heavy snow, the branches have been flattened. Should I prune the rose back now or will that cause any damage to the rose ? Thanks.

Hi Bamboo, many thanks for the prompt reply, really appreciated. I think I should be ok to leave until Feb/March in that case. Thanks again.

Prune out any damaged branches now if you want, usual time to prune these properly is late February/early March, when you can see where the new growth is swelling. Flattened branches should recover over time
