It is Euphorbia, amygdaloides I think, or Wood Spurge.
Good plant for shade but can be invasive.

Euphorbia amygdaloides var robbiae to be totally accurate (unless the botanists have changed it again!). It is god in dry shade but the roots run, especially in light soils, and it can also self seed. You have been warned!
One way to try it is take a large plastic flower pot, cut off the bottom and sink it in the soil. Plant the euphorbia inside - this should help stop the roots spreading but dig out any pieces outside of the pot.

How do I say thanks?
