Hello
I have a yellow rose in my garden which has been trained along a wall - I moved here in August and it was in flower, I deadheaded and got a few new blooms. I was wondering if I ought to prune it to get more flowers this year? If so, when is the right time? Would this be a climbing rose?
Thank you! :)

Thank you Sheilabub, that's really helpful! I will have a go at the end of March.

The end of March is the accepted time to prune roses . . . yes, they usually appreciate a little light pruning (and, in case you haven't done it before?), cut just above a bud which faces outwards.
