Bulbs:
I planted some bulbs: crocuses, tulips, muscari, hyacinths.... they are doing well (not flowering yet). I water them as required. Do I need to use fertilizer at this stage? for healthier spring flowers?
Thank you

I feed Bearded Iris and Dutch Iris gently before bloom, since they go dormant so quickly after bloom, here. That's mainly for next year's bloom, though.

No Detta, your bulbs do not need feeding just yet. All the energy for this years flowers is already stored within the bulb. What you can do is give weak feeds of tomato fertiliser AFTER the flower have died. I do this every two weeks between the flowers dying off and the leaves dying down. I then stop watering and let the pots dry out.
