I could use a couple of id's please.
Both were indoors at the botanic gardens in Oxford. The first (red) one is in the warmer inner passageway and was a shrub of about 5 foot or so.
The second was in the cooler outer "porch" area, which whilst fully enclosed is a fair bit cooler. It stood about 6 to 8 inches high.

Yes, I'm sure the second one is Ipheon . . . sorry, no idea about the red one.

Hi, I think the first one may be a Kennnedia rubicunda, I'm fairly sure the flower is a Kennedia and the above looks closest.

The Ipheon does not have to be grown indoors. It will do quite well in the open garden and is readily available.

BA - as you enter the glasshouse there is what I call the porch area, the idea being to provide a bit of protection for the plants just inside the door from the cold air/wind outside. It has a constantly changing display. The following are some of the winter exhibits......

The second one looks like the bulb Ipheon uniflorum but it rather early for it yet.
