I recently bought plants from Wilkos and have put them all out, they are looking good. I needed lots of plants for our newly dug border so these were a bargain and so far so good. Of course we might get more frosts so protection may be called for.

Not meaning to denigrate Wilkinson plants, I buy loads from there, but still suggest hardening off - that's what I do with mine at this time of year.

I think the plants are ok but they get neglected in the shop and become very sad. I have bought plants there just to rescue them! They are usually fine with a little tlc.

They all can BUT, I've bought plants in Wilkinson too - they're usually kept inside overnight in the store and they're in small pots, so initially, keep them outside but in a sheltered spot so they get a chance to harden off a bit, moving them further out of shelter over a week, then plant. Lord knows how well they've been cared for in Wilkie's, but you can probably assume not very well.
