Some of my Primula auriculas have a white powder on them - any ideas what this could be?
Thank you

Certainly sounds like farina to me. Does it look almost like flour Nicola?

I'm relieved to read this! I have 3 little plants all covered in what I thought was a powdery mildew. I've never grown them before so was unaware that this was usual. Thanks for the info.

If the leaves get any water on them the farina will wash off or look spotty.

Many auriculas have white farina on them. It is part of the plant. If it is not farina then the only other thing it could be is fungus.
