Abutilon Kentish Belle (Abutilon megapotamicum) (variegated)

Thanks for replies. I have found a picture which identifies it as above, but cannot find one that is so varegated as this one. So please can I grow it in a large pot, is it hardy if placed outside in a sheltered spot. Will I be able to keep it a manageable size if I prune each spring, or would I be better to replant it in the garden.
Thanks Jilly

We used to sell these at the nursery.
If keeping it in a pot you will need to prune it quite hard in the spring to keep it compact. They have a habit of dropping older leaves and can end up looking quite straggly.

Hi Jillyflower, welcome to GOY.
You seem to be doing well with your plant.
Remember it is not hardy. It will require less water in winter. Will need feeding in the spring.
We used to grow these as standards as spot plants in beds of geraniums.
