Meanie mine nearly did it's taken ages to renew leaves and recover , the colours are lovely Gill , it was new last year Lori there are a lot of blooms like this on it now , I think I have it on an unsuitable wall ,I lost the last one in the same place and this one caught the frost badly this last winter I'm not sure if it would stand being moved in the autumn to a more protected spot I will have to lok that up !

This is amazing...I know I couldn't grow it here..but I have an hardy hibiscus (Same amazing family)...survives our winters but must be cut to the ground and mulched for winter protection. Beautiful things and so tropical looking..and they can live here! Amazed. Thought I had lost it but it's up 2 ft tall and setting buds! here again, it's a matter of WHERE you plant something...siting is most important...even over soil pH and feeding sometimes.

You are so right Lori ,just being round a corner can make all the difference . I'm pleased your Hisbicus is growing well , we shall no doubt be able to see the photos when it blooms :o))
