What is this plant? it was given to me a couple of years ago as a tiny seedling and is now flowering for the first time.

Definitely not - it has lived outside all winter in a pot and I have some seedlings of Mina, leaves are wrong

well it is one of the pea family but that is as far as i can go. is it in a very sheltered spot? I will see if I can dig ot an id.

Someone told me they think it is Colutea x media Copper Beauty. I had previously thought it might be a colutea but thought they only came in yellow. I think they are correct.
