What is the biggest size of pot you would need to use for growing tomatoes in? I use a ten inch pot but would like something smaller. I don't like using grow bags.

9 inch pots are about the smallest you can get away with.

Ours are in 9 inch pots simply because that is what we had, means we have to be vigilant with watering.

I use plastic buckets which are thrown away by Bakers and Restaurants. All kinds of ingredients come in these large buckets, and a few holes drilled into the bottom makes them a great growing pot for the greenhouse.
We retired from the restaurant business years ago,but the buckets we saved keep going year after year: they do tend to need a lot of filling, but the results are worth it I think.
I am using them for the Toms, peppers,Cucumbers and melons.

How do I say thanks?
