Can't quite understand what's going on here.
New toms that ive just transferrred into plastic buckets full of growmore,the small under leaves are all turning white?----It's almost like the leaves are being burn't by the growing medium .???- any help would be good thanks Jim.

Grow bags are what you can grow tomatoes and other veg., to clarify you have taken a grow bag and put the contents into buckets and planted your tomato plants in that?
What size are the plants, I wonder if you haven't planted them on to soon...

Thanks to all that answered,---no crocks in the base of the containers ,but adequate drainage,perhaps iv'e been a bit early planting them out Moongrower,what with our unpredictable weather.Jim

Woody, do you really mean that you've put your tomato plants into buckets of growmore, or have you put them into buckets of compost with growmore mixed into it?
Growmore is a concentrated fertilizer that you sprinkle round established plants, and preferably water in. You don't grow anything in neat growmore.
That would be like encasing your head in a bagful of spaghetti bolognaise and wondering why you're not moving any more....
