Giant Iris'
I was walking past a garden a few days ago and saw what looked like 3ft tall dark blue Iris'. They were so stunning I was desperate to take a pic but thought the owners of the house may be offended so didn't. Now I know this may like looking for a nedle in a haystack but does anyone know of giant Iris' and where I could get some. I realise they may need to be planted in autumn to flower next year but I really would love some.
Many Thanks

Thank you once again for taking the time to reply Drc, there's so much I need to learn and it's such a long process trying to google everything, not to mention like trying to find a needle in a haystack at times.
I will definitely be adding some of the Apostles to my list they are magnificent! :O)

I think I might ask them if I can and what kind it is. It really is amazing!

no idea as it was well established when we moved in. but they are consistently 3ft. My Iris germanica are all about 2 1/2ft tall.
