Can anyone identify this plant?
It is similar to snow on the mountain or rock cress low to the ground.

Possibly a primula but a photo of the leaves and the whole plant would help. Also what size is it?

Very pretty: could it be Malva moschata alba?? (just guessing . . .).

Could be a cistus, but without seeing the leaves, no idea, could be one of many plants.

Now we can see the leaves, could it be one of the spreading Phlox??

I think it is, Sheilabub - a Phlox subulata variety, possibly 'maischnee'

It might be Phlox 'Amazing Grace' which does have these lilac markings in the flower, but is usually described as very pale pink - this looks completely white in the pics, but if in real life it looks like a pinkish white, then that might be the one.

Thankyou very much for your replies. Not all of the flowers have those tiny lilac markings .I do believe there is a lilac or pink version of this as well. I will have a look. I wanted to add it to my garden profile and just realized I did not know what it is.

That's a great shot of the flowers, but we have no idea what sort of plant it's on. Please could you edit your question adding a photo of the leaves and a shot of the plant itself so we can see its size and shape?
