Gardens4you.co.uk....

Has anyone got any experience of this company? Somewhere, in the back of my brain, I have a feeling I've read something on here about them...or is it my vivid imagination..... again?

Www.gardens4you.co.uk...it is a big retailer of garden supplies...based in the Netherlands, NP. I know I've read reviews about them but had a feeeling that some GOYers had had some experience in dealing with them...BUT cannot remember if it was good or bad!

I haven't read a bad review online...YET! I was considering purchasing from them.

I purchased from them a couple weeks ago. I found some passiflora's on their site which i couldn't find anywhere else. They offered 3 free dahlia bulbs free with my purchase which tipped the scale for me! When the products arrived i was unhappy with one of the Dahlia bulbs that had rotted and was in poor health and one of the passiflora's had a slighlty damaged stem. I emailed the customer services, they asked me to photograph the damage and send to them. Within a few hours they replied and sent me 3 new dahlia tubers, very healthy and large. And replaced the damaged passiflora, which will probably grow to be healthy anyway. So i was happy with the service and my purchase, all in all. The plants come from floradirect.nl, so a dutch source.

Thanks both.

Funguy, I must admit all the reviews I've read indicate that they deal with any problems very promptly and with no quibbles at all. The customer services is supposedly excellent so, on the whole, I think it's worth taking a chance. They are the only site I can find who stock Euonymus japonicus 'Albovarieagatus Microphylla'.... Blimey! That is a mouthful!
