I'm not sure it's fair to ask even the wizards to identify this one. Even I know of many leaf shapes and colours which are similar to this one. Anyway, nothing ventured, nothing gained and you might surprise me as you have done before.

Me too. Has anyone smelled the flowers which this shrub produces around this time of year? They are heavenly.

If it's a shrub - a large one when mature - I agree - I reckon E.x ebbingei 'Gilt Edge' as it has a cream edge to the leaves.

Now you need to keep an eye on it for pruning. If you see any branches without the variegated leaves then you need to prune that branch right out.
