Has anyone tried creating a 'green wall' with the vertical planting systems that appear to have become trendy. I am not interested in being trendy, I would just like to cover the bare bits of a wooden box bed to make it blend into the rest of the garden better. Any advice or experience welcomed!

Or you could drill fairly large holes in the sides of the box and plant into those, as well as trailing plants over the sides,Ojib. Annie (Cumbria)

I haven't tried the living wall thing, but if your box bed isn't too high, why not grow trailers over the edge instead?
