Would I be ok to sow perennials now rather than wait till Autumn? Just thought if I did it now it would give them a chance to get established and maybe flower next summer. I have a greenhouse that I would be able to overwinter them in but its not heated.
Thanks

If they are fresh seed eg out of your own garden, then sow immediately you harvest them. If they have been bought from a shop then it is probably best to wait until autumn as the seed has already lost its freshness.

I sow lupins, foxgloves, campanula & aquilegia seeds from my own plants around now. I leave them in a sheltered spot over winter, but an unheated greenhouse would be ideal. I'm not sure about other perennials, however, but there are lots of others out there who can help
