Does anyone know the name of this plant, which appears to thrive on the window sill of our spare bedroom. How can it be propogated?

I'm sure its a Sedum buretto. They root easy from tip cuttings Cut a tip about 3 inches long, remove a few of the bottom leaves then allow it to callous for a day. Place in a very well drained compost-plenty of sand or grit and keep it just damp and on a sunny windowsill. Its a lovely plant.
Good luck!

It is actually Sedum Burrito, but it all sounds the same no worries. Sedum Morganianum is the correct latin name for it, the 'Burrito' comes from burro which is Spanish for Donkey as the plant is known as Donkeys Tail.

Burro's Tail is the name I know but I guess that is pretty much the same as Donkey's Tail. I love these. The trailing stems can grow really long....6 feet or more. It is very easy to grow from cuttings. I've seen some in flower with pink blooms. It only needs a light watering and only when it gets dry. Sharp draining potting mix is a must....I used cactus mix. If you can get yours to flower Ron, please post a picture. Mine never did end up flowering before I lost it during a house move.

It will also root from the leaves, just left resting on moist sand, or sometimes just resting on dry sand.

I'd say it was a Sedum Morganianum.
This might be helpful for cuttings:
