Houttuynia cordata chameleon ground cover plant that can be extremely invasive. Very pretty flowers and leaves turn red but it stinks. Likes moist conditions does well in pots and pond sides but spreads when planted in the ground. I hate it after it took me 5 years to get rid of it.

I completely endorse what Drc says. I have an ever widening patch of this--very pretty but difficult to get rid of and when you pull it up it stinks to high heaven!

Weeds are plants too after all -- its a only a weed if its in the wrong place, so its up to you to choose!

Sure thing, Drc - I was replying to Gazthegrower. Part of my one woman crusade to get weeds recognised as plants!

Haven't a clue....but it is very clever to grow through that lovely wooden bench.....My wife and I always say that if a 'flowers' grows quickly it is probably a weed, but then again 'what is a weed'.
Hope somone can be more help than me. daviddixon
