Freezing Runner Beans?
Can someone kindly tell me if the three minute timing should be after the water returns to boiling,or does it mean three minutes after plunging the beans into the boiling water ?
Second Question,do Broad beans need to be treated before freezing. ?

Previous question
To blanche runner beans you drop into vigorously boiling water and time onwards for 3 minutes .Then place in cold water for 1 minute, drain off and dry off excess water before placing in freezer bag. They keep for three months.
Just pick, shell and bag broad beans.
Both sorts of beans are best spread out to 1/4" depth to ensure fast freezing.
