Freezing Runner Beans?
Can someone kindly tell me if the three minute timing should be after the water returns to boiling,or does it mean three minutes after plunging the beans into the boiling water ?
Second Question,do Broad beans need to be treated before freezing. ?

Once the water is fast boiling I add my beans and time it from then and keep it fast boiling, I found its best not to do that many in one blanch, takes to long to get back to the fast boil, so I tend to do it several batches and I find they are easier to dip in cold water to this way. Sorry I dont freeze broad beans so dont know.
