Not a question - £Shop lilly ... four heads open, two to go. Not bad for £1 eh? Wish I'd bought half a dozen. They were two little plants in a little pot which I potted up immediately and this is how they are today.

The thing is Beattie, if I'd have bought half a dozen at the time, they probs would have all died. Sometimes you can't win can you? lol

Flip flops and Lilies are looking great, Sheilar!
Bamboo, cuttings are really easy from Erysimum Bowles Mauve . . . if I can do it, anyone can, lol. Then you will have lots next year - it's a great plant.

What do you root yours in, Sheilabub, and when do you do them? Am I right in thinking its too late now anyway?

If they're still growing quite strongly, Bamboo, it's not too late. I just pop them into potting compost . . . mixed with some silver sand if I have it. With any luck you'll have enough to give some away (oh, yes please if you're offering, I don't have them any more!!).

Might have a crack tomorrow then, but I don't have any sand left, unfortunately.

Lovely colour, good for a quid isn't it. Mind you, I bought an Erysimum Bowles Mauve back in February as a tiny plant for 1.65 - its been brilliant, in flower since April and still going. Worth every penny, and the bees love it. But you'll have yours next year, and I might not have mine, lol!
