Which perennials do slugs & snails NOT eat? Beattie said in an answer that they don't seem to like Honesty and I know they don't eat my lillies, foxgloves or hardy geraniums. Which others will they avoid? It would be good to know.

I grow Lychnis coronaria and Stachys byzantina without problems - both have hairy leaves. Also(in a random list) Centranthus, Centaurea montana, Tellima grandiflora, Dianthus species, tulips, daffs, snowdrops, arabis, fuchsias, sedums.

Also Lavender, thyme, rosemary - they all have tough leaves. And oregano & mint. Pelargoniums. Perhaps they don't like the smell of these things.
You're welcome Ojibway! I'm sure there are more.
I find lilies get a bit nibbled, but not too much to survive.

Thanks again, Beattie. I am going to print out these lists and keep them with me for future visits to GCs. Then, maybe one day I will be able to ease up on the slug hunting which is something I hate.
