I think I've figured out what's wrong with my Vinca. During a destructive storm in the area a enormous tree was toppled in a neighbor's yard. That tree provided shade for my vinca during the hottest part of the day. I've removed the dead parts and found some new little sprouts under all the debris. I've watered and watered as suggested. I now feel confident the vinca will return before long. Thanks.
