hi everyone,ive found a plant/weed in an area of the garden that is growing some veg but quite weedy too. its has heart(ish) shaped leaves,tiny white flowers and now producing green little berries which are turning black,sorry its a bit vauge but hope someone can help.

Sounds a bit nightshade-y to me, but without a pic, we're just guessing

Nightshade/ Bryony sounds most likely.

Enchanters nightshade, Circaea lutetiana, sound the most likely if the sprays of berries are upright. If they hang down a bit it could be black nightshade, Solanum nigrum. If it is the latter the flowers would have had noticeable yellow centres.

thanks for all answers. read about it and agree some form of nightshade,my dear old mum always said NOT TO TOUCH NIGHTSHADE! so its out! didnt like it much anyway....

Don't panic though - its only the deadly nightshade that's a real rotter, and that's a much bigger plant than yours. As long as you don't start eating it there's no danger. But I agree, its not particularly pretty, and it does self seed quite a bit.
