Bronze Weigela, or Weigela folis purpureus or purpureum. Nice plant, good contrast between the flowers and foliage, smaller than most Weigela.

You're right. I just looked it up--it's Foliis Purpuries, and it has pale pink flowers. It's not so vigorous as the normal green-leaved one, and usually stays quite small. Annie
