That's probably because the birds dropped the seed. Looks like an elderberry. If I am right, I would remove it.

Looks more like an ash seedling to me but not a keeper anyway.

I thought ash too but you can tell by the smell if you bruise it. Elder will have quite a strong slightly musty smell.

I thought the same, because they self-seed in my garden and that plant looks just the same. Get rid of it because it's too near the house and will grow huge if left! Annie
