Advice please.

1) I have an English Lavender which ahs frown quite large this Summer and flowered well. I have removed the flowering spikes, but cannot remember how much green I need to leave after the wood. Could someone please advise me?

2) The second lavender struugled this Summer but has satrted to flower and look healthhy again, should it be pruned this year as it is very small?

3) Could I have care advice for my Cypressus "Wilma Goldcrest" whuch will remain in its pot to contain growth?

Re the lavenders, I'd take about an inch (2.5 cm) off all the shoots on the larger one and just remove the dead flower spikes back to the level of the leaves on the smaller one.

I would give the lavenders the lightest of trims just to give them a tidy shape.

With the plant in the pot. Just don't let it die from lack of water but that's all.
