Autumn lawn care -
I have just scarified and treated a large 2 acre lawn, with Westlands Autumn Lawn feed and Moss killer.
I want and was going to reseed as well(next week), but can anyone advise if it will be okay to do so, considering i have applied this treatment?
If i should not reseed immediately, then do you think it will be okay to reseed in maybe a week or two's time?

I see, thank you.
The lawn has received no care for many years, so maybe it is a good thing to wait, untill next spring. Giving time for some air to get to the ground before new grass seed germinates and covers the ground.
There is so much thatch and moss that the scarification(petrol machine type) has not removed it all, so i am inclined to scarify again after a rain has dispersed the treatment...
Bamboo, out of interest... do you have a preferential time of year to reseed i.e spring or autumn?

Early September is my favourite time - it germinates really quick and grows surprisingly fast. Done in Spring, it seems to take forever to germinate and get going...

Unfortunately, you will not now be able to reseed this year, Funguy - particularly with this treatment because its created in such a way as to break down extremely slowly over 2 or 3 months rather than the six weeks normal for summer feeds. Even with a summer feed, you'd have had to wait 6 weeks. If we have a lot of rain, you could give it a shot if you have plenty of seed, but otherwise, you're stuck till next Spring really.
