Hi me again....
We have just had the last lot of raspberries and apples from the orchard and wondered when do we cut back and how much. Sorry for being so numb lol.

Unless they are an autumn fruiting variety in which case you wait until next February early March to cut out the canes that have fruited. New canes will grow to provide that years crop. In spite of the claim that you don't need to tie in autumn rasps. my experience is that you do.

The general rule is to cut out the canes which have fruited this and tie in this year's canes which will fruit next year.
