how do I care for sisyrinchium aunt may

United Kingdom

do i cut back last years growth?

Answers

What I do is to pull off the black leaves and cut off the old flowering stems at the base. This 'tidies' up the plants. Do yours seed themselves? Mine do!
I have only got the non-variegated ones at the moment, but Aunt May is on her way from a Nursery!!!
