I have just ordered 100 tiger lilly bulbs, which is the best way to plant them, single or in groups, they are going into a front flower bed for the summer.

Thanks for that, we was not quite sure how to plant them but what you say makes sense, glad I asked.

i have them in clumps of 3/5 but they do multiply. they are stunning plants. I started them of in 3 litre rose pots so they had the best start. I put them in about 6" deep. when the top growth was about 7" I planted them out into a well dug hole with lots of leaf mould added. I use old 3ft stems from elder prunings as stakes. hope this helps.

« The front garden has grass (mossy) and borders at present.
In largish groups, they tend to get lost singly and if one doesn't come up you'll get gaps.
