Has anyone ever grown wisteria in a container? I have a south facing garden and would love to have one climbing up the back of the house, but the closest soil is about 7 metres from the house!

Make sure if you buy one it is one that has been grafted. This will ensure it flowers otherwise you can have one that will grow and grow and possible take years to flower.

You can make up a place to plant a Wisteria with loose bricks and as it grows you can make it bigger. The shape to work on is a hexagon with John Innes potting no. 3 soil based compost.
