How and when can I move crocus bulbs?

They have now all died down and I wish to move them for next year. When and how can I do this? They are in the lawn so feel I need to do this quickly before the leaves disappear and then I won't be able to find them.

The leaves of the crocus are still synthasising the enrgy for next years bulbs. Ideally you should leave the bulbs until they have completely died back. Sometime like June would be ideal. If you feel that you do have to lift them now they will lose a lot of their energy and may not flower for several years.
