starting over with my propagator

Right I have disinfected propagator and pots. Have new seeds and compost and am ready to start again after my disaster with damp off. Any tips before I take the plunge would be very welcome as I am new to growing.

Hi Poddy, I have also had some disasters this year propogating seeds. The worst was delphinium (only managed to save 2 of these) closely followed by echinacea (similar ratio). Good luck with yours, I've given up and just going for direct sowing for the time being. Am not deterred though and will be starting all over next year. Good luck with yours!

Hello Poddy,
Great well done, don't try to germinate them too fast. Put some silver sand over the top of the compost before you sow the seed (thinnly). Do not overwater and must be clean (not rain water).
Good luck.
