Laburnum Adamii

I have a Laburnam Adamii which flowered 2 years ago when I purchased it but last year it had no flowers. I trimmed it last summer to keep a decent shape and was hoping for flowers this Spring, would it be anything to do with the grafting of the Laburnum and Cystus?

That's more than likely it Mageth, it is unusual and not very attractive with straggly growth, it should flower April/May. It's funny really, It was bought as a special small tree, for us and I had in mind the golden Laburnum, then read about the Adamii type which could have golden and purple racemes and it ended up having a dull peach colour flowers....LOL!
Many thanks though I shall prune it in June this year.....:o)

What an unusual plant you have there. the only thing I can think of is that it was pruned late in the year. Its an early flowering type that may need to be trimmed immediately after flowering ( before June) as it flowers on previous years growth.?
