I am wondering when to take cuttings of my lovely Magenta coloured Buddleia. Do you think softwood cuttings in Spring will take or will I have to wait till
next Autumn for hardwood ones?

I've always taken my buddleia cuttings in late summer/autumn but it might be worth trying them in spring.

Thanks Am, I thought I maybe would have to wait till then......like you say though, nothing stopping me giving it a try earlier...will see if it works....:)

You can take them as softwood, semi ripe or hardwood cuttings so take your pick. Softwoods will obviously need more care as the cutting will lose lots of water through it's leaves.

Good luck
