I.e., a Monkey Puzzle Tree (Araucaria araucana), Delise. If you google a picture of that, and it doesn't match, a photo posted from you is the next step. So you know, you can add text and photos to this question--it would be less confusing than doing another question.

I didn't think of that, Avkq!....Hmm, I can find references to those in the Canary Islands, but not in any other part of Spain. A lot depends on where in Spain Delise lives.

Try seaching on www.rareplants.de They are a company that moved to the Canaries last year and have a large selction of seeds native and growable in Spain. You might find what you have there.
