Answers
Whilst we don't use fridge stratification methods with any of our alpine seeds I believe that the method is just to keep them in the fridge for a couple of weeks or so.

Hi Plh if I've understood your question correctly you sown your seed of Mec. betonicifolia and then put into the fridge? In all the years we have grown Mecs. from seed we have never put into the fridge... mostly ours just germinate where they land in the soil but those we sow in pots are never put into the fridge.
