Does anyone know the name of this lily, it was seen in Thailand. Is it a special type?

oh, thank you bamboo, the latin name is not so important, my son took the photo and wanted to know what it was called.

Not a true Lotus flower (Nelumbo) as the seed head is prominent at all stages in Lotus flowers and is not visible here. The petals should be broader too generally.
So my bid is Nymphaea, probably (based on colour alone) N.caerulea. Easy to remember, as the second part is the same as the common Passiflora!
