Erythronium?

Yes, Erythronium. I bought bulbs (?) a couple of years ago and they are happily multiplying in my shady garden. A very welcome early flower and so dainty!

Agreed. They are often sold as Pagoda lilies or Dog Tooth Violets.

I love these - bought some a couple of years ago, dug them up as they were fading last year to spread them out a bit and they are multiplying in the shady bit of my garden too. The corms/ bulbs/ whatever they are had grown bigger, like sweet potatoes set vertically in the ground. The leaves are attractive as well as the flowers. I have another one called "White Beauty" that is a lot less vigorous.

Thank you so much and welcome news that it will flourish in shady areas, have been looking for something colourful for a little shady patch.

How do I say thanks?
