Another question , help please- is it possible to plant the little cyclamen out in the garden. I had a lot in pots in the winter (they are the kind you buy in garden centres, there's usually about 6 in the plastic containers) I've taken them up as I needed the pots and they'd stopped flowering. If they can go in the garden, what conditions do they need? Or should I just throw them away?

The mini cyclamen you buy in the GCs and supermarkets are, generally, one year wonders. That said if you have the space there is no harm in planting them in a shady area of your garden with good humus rich soil.

Thank you for this, I think I'll bin them and buy them again next autumn as my garden's small so I don't have much room for things which aren't likely to work!

To be honest that is what I would do too!

I put them in the garden and some come up again. But I'm not short of space.....
