And check not just the top but the bottom of all leaves looking for their nasty grubs.

Rose clear is supposed to kill the grubs, but the adults are a crush job. Just removed and killed over 20 of them, but then we do have a lot of lilies. Though probably not for much longer. What the snails do not eat the red devils do, so I am seriously thinking of removing and burning the bulbs.

What a shame Owdb.

It is, but we have enough to do without spending hours trying to keep lilies pest free when it is such an impossible task.

Knock off the beetles into a white container then tip out and stamp. They land belly up on the ground, making them hard to see so best done on concrete or similar. Wipe off the larvae with damp tissue. Check the plants every day.
I got rid of all my lilies as OB is thinking of doing and I went without for 4 years and then tried again. The next year was trouble free but the year after that the blighters returned.
My friend sprays his with Fairy Liquid and seems to have little trouble with lily beetle. I've ordered a couple of tree lilies against my better judgement and will be trying out his advice.
