Couple of questions;
By small do you mean half the size or what?
How old are your plants?
Have you fed them?
What is in my mind is your plants may be more than three years old and this aging can affect fruit size and quantity.
If this is the case you aught to secure/root some runners after fruiting and use these to replace your old plants.
